As per the AICTE Approval, diploma holders can join
B.E. (Lateral Entry) in
any discipline,
regardless of the branch studied during their diploma.
For example, a student with a diploma in Civil Engineering can pursue a B.E. in:
- Computer Engineering
- Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE)
- Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)
- Mechanical Engineering
- Or any other engineering discipline through lateral entry
